The Centre Management team at Yeperenye have a wide range of professional and personal experience that support them in leading Alice Springs most premier shopping location.
The team have over 100 years of collective experience in commercial real-estate and almost 200 years of combined local knowledge. Our team are here to support you to grow your business in the heart of Australia.
Managing Director
Owen has been involved with the establishment of Yeperenye Shopping Centre before the company was established.
He was Regional Manager of the Aboriginal Development Commission/ATSIC and together with fellow Yeperenye Director, David Ross, helped forge the way for the property to be transferred from Government ownership to Central Australian Aboriginal people.
Owen is passionate about Aboriginal economic and community development, which drove him to complete a Diploma of Business and later a Bachelor of Economics at what is now the University of South Australia.
As a long term Alice Springs resident of Luritja and Warramungu descent, with over 30 years’ experience in the property development and management industry, Owen is uniquely positioned to lead Yeperenye Pty Ltd as its Managing Director.
Portfolio Manager
David is an accomplished property professional with a diverse range of experience including large scale contract management of multi-site operations; retail, government and commercial management, retail leasing, project management and facility management.
He is responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the Yeperenye property portfolio.
He aims to maximize the profitability of the portfolio by way of good tenancy mix planning, effective leasing, administration of facilities and effective communication within the portfolio.
He also assists retailers to optimize retail sales.
Marketing Manager
Courtney joined our team in 2019, and although she is new for us, she isn’t new to Central Australia.
Courtney was born and raised in Alice and has returned home after eight years of study and professional development.
Courtney manages the centre’s marketing, event and sponsorship activities, working closely with retailers to drive sales and stay on top of developments in the business and marketing world.
In 2018 and 2019, Courtney was a Graduate in the Department of Treasury and Finance, she primary worked in Budget Development and has experience working with projects including those for tourism, events, marketing, infrastructure, health to name only a few.
Courtney describes herself as a little bit of a nerd, she has a Diploma of Event Management, a Bachelor of Business with an award major in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business with Honours.
As a reward for her achievements, she was awarded the University Medal and was Valedictorian.
Assistant Property Manager
Megan is responsible for managing our security and cleaning teams, and ensuring our workplace follows the proper workplace health and safety requirements.
This born and raised local Arente Lutjia woman has more than six years of commercial real estate experience and prior several years of management experience at a local Aboriginal Arts Centre.
Megan brings to our team a range of local knowledge and experience. Megan loves spending time with her family, enjoying all that nature in Central Australia has to offer.
Facilities Manager
Brett has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and specialises in mechanical and electrical services, making him extremely well suited to his busy role managing the maintenance of nine properties located throughout Australia.
Brett is very much a local to Alice Springs, having lived here just short of 40 years.
Bookkeeper
Louise joined our management team in 2005, and has worked within the Alice Springs Real Estate Industry for 22 years managing both Residential & Commercial Real Estate accounts.
Prior to joining us directly Louise was employed with the managing real estate agent for Yeperenye Shopping Centre and as such has been associated with Yeperenye for over 20 years.
Louise has lived in Alice Springs for 29 years, completing her high school education along with her Bachelor of Business in our wonderful town.
She is an extremely proactive professional and has a busy personal life, raising her three girls with her husband.
Administration Manager

Maintenance Officer
Micky was born and raised in Alice and has worked for Yeperenye Pty Ltd for more than 10 years. He is responsible for maintaining and enhancing functionality of the properties in Yeperenye’s portfolio.
When he isn’t fixing lights, painting or working on renovations, Mickey supports local AFL.
